Faderfox micromodul LX2

Faderfox-micromodul-LX2

The micromodul LX2 is a custom-made, pocket-size controller of 2nd generation for use with Ableton Live. It was designed as a supplement to our LV2. Whilst the LV2 offers all faders, encoders and a joystick, the LX2 offers a lot of key functions for controlling tracks, clips, scenes, track select and fx. All this is achieved with 56 buttons and 49 LED’s. Four button groups are independently programmable in different modes. All track control functions are immediately accessible for 6 or 12 tracks. Another strength of the LX2 is the possibility to start over 36 slots/scenes (up to 108 are even possible by using the keyset function). Last but not least have all buttons of the first 3 groups LED’s to show their statuses. Parameter feedbacks from the application are indicated by these 36 LED’s. The fourth group is a mini keyboard (one octave), a simple possibility to trigger any instrument you want. Each button group has three switchable keysets. As of Live version 4.1, you can use the LX2 immediately by using different setting files which are shipped with the controller – without the time consuming process of programming each separate control element. Modern sequencing – finally enough switches to rock your live-set! The LX2 can also be used with other programs. It is suited well for software sequencers, VST instruments or any other midi gear. This controller can be used everywhere you need a compact instrument to send a lot of switch commands via midi. You can program the LX2 (cc/note numbers in groups of 12 ascending numbers, keymodes like 1 of 12 and toggle) and store it in 12 setups. The device is very compact and easy to transport, and you do not even need any power adaptors since it works with standard and rechargeable batteries. Improvements to LX1: 36 LED’s to show the button statuses, 4 independent keygroups with 3 keysets, freely assignable in different keymodes, mini-keyboard, 12 setup memories

– Special controller for switch commands (optimized for Ableton Live) – Setup files for Ableton Live as of version 4.1 are shipped with the controller – Independent of operating system and computer type (PC or Mac) due to the midi interface (no driver necessary) – 3 groups of 12 coloured buttons – each group is switchable between 3 keysets which are independently programmable – Programmable are keymode (1 of 12 & toggle), cc/note number (in groups of 12 ascending numbers), channel (1-12), track (1-12) etc. – mini-keyboard with octave-shift-buttons for fast triggering of any instrument (octave, velocity, channel programmable) – 12 setup memorys to store 3 keysets of each button group (12 setups x 3 keysets x 4 button groups) – Parameter feedback of button statuses is indicated by LED’s (LIVE sends Mute & FX) – Independent power supply by standard or rechargeable batteries 3 x AA cell, lifetime about 30 to 60 hours – Powersave mode after 10 minutes of the last movement (flash light) – LED battery control – Socket for an external power adaptor (4.5-6V DC – min. 100 mA) – Midi-merge function – Very compact design in a black, plastic casing (desktop format 180x105x70 mm, 450 g) – Silver aluminium front plate with anodised coating (abrasion resistant) and inscriptions – 49 LED’s in different colors to display various information (low basic lights of all LED’s for better orientation in dark club atmosphere) – Expandable system by other micromodul controllers (easy chaining by midi connections) – Compatible to the 1st micromodul line (same note numbers like LV1, LX1)
